Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is hiring a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician II to operate and maintain plant equipment including ammonia refrigeration, boilers, water treatment and HVAC systems. You’ll read blueprints, troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, and support safety programs in a noisy, industrial plant environment.

Required are five years of industrial maintenance experience in ammonia/HVAC, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to travel to other locations while mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Must obtain a CIRO (Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator) or higher within 6 months from date of hire.
• Must obtain a CIRO certification with six months from hire date.
• Requires reading blueprints/schematics and troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems.
• Five years of industrial plant maintenance experience in anhydrous ammonia and HVAC or refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems in a safe manner.
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot boilers, condensate returns, and steam distribution.
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot water treatment systems including nano- and RO filtration.
• Operate compressed air systems up to 600 psi and HVAC/exhaust/make-up air units.
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) and record work orders in CMMS.
• Travel to other locations and train peers/new facilities maintenance associates.
• Explain tasks to visitors and operate forklift/boom as needed.
