Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our ammonia refrigeration and related systems running safely and efficiently at our Woodland facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and improving mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems, with hands-on work on ammonia refrigeration equipment essential to our operations.

The shift is Monday through Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, with potential on-call demand and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, CO₂, Freon).
Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus.
Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency.
Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments (-20°F to 100°F).
Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation.
Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia, CO₂, and Freon refrigeration systems, upholding strict safety and compliance standards.
Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and facility control systems.
Document maintenance activities and communicate updates to leadership.
Maintain a safe, organized workspace and support continuous improvement efforts.
