Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an Intern in Ammo Research & Development in Jacksonville, Arkansas for the Spring 2027 semester to test and develop ammunition using standard equipment.

The intern will collaborate with Design Engineers and Manufacturing teams on data collection, troubleshooting and documentation. This entry-level position requires enrollment in a Science/Technology degree program, basic GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Science/Technology degree program.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and GD&T basics.
• Ability to document test data and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ammunition component and cartridge design.
• Handload ammunition for test and evaluation.
• Assist in engineering and production testing of new products.
• Document test data and create comprehensive written reports to standards.
