Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Temporary Consultant in Financial Crime Audit & Testing to support AML/BSA compliance efforts across diverse financial institutions. The role focuses on independent testing, risk assessment, and internal audit activities within a professional services environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in BSA/AML consulting or related internal audit/testing, with relevant certifications and strong communication skills. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of AML and BSA laws and internal audit practices.
• Experience with risk-based testing and control design/operational effectiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, audit, and monitor compliance of BSA/ AML requirements for financial institutions of all sizes
• Execute across all phases of an audit, including planning, conducting process walkthroughs, developing/executing test procedures, tracking artifacts and reporting on deliverables
• Submit written or oral reports of audit results to senior management and audit committees including findings, analysis, conclusions and recommended actions
• Build and manage relationships with Business Lines across all three lines of defense
