Job summary

Crowe in the United States seeks a Temporary Consultant to join its Financial Crime practice, focusing on AML/BSA testing and independent audits for financial institutions. You will execute across planning, testing, and reporting, driving actions with senior management.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in AML/BSA consulting or internal audit, professional certifications preferred, and willingness to travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
3+ years of experience in BSA/AML consulting/advisory, bank internal audit, or compliance testing.
Proficiency in AML/BSA regulatory requirements for retail banking activities, products and services.
Understanding of banking regulations and supervisory expectations for large financial institutions.
Knowledge of statistical analytics and testing methods.
Experience in a project environment with top 50 banks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, audit, and monitor compliance of BSA/ AML requirements for financial institutions of all sizes.
Execute across all phases of an audit, including planning, conducting process walkthroughs, developing/executing test procedures, tracking artifacts and reporting on deliverables.
Submit written or oral reports of audit results to senior management and audit committees including findings, analysis, conclusions and recommended actions.
Build and manage relationships with Business Lines across all three lines of defense.
