Job summary

Rush Street Interactive is seeking an AML Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team in the United States. You will work with the AML Manager to identify financial crime, coordinate regulatory reporting, and perform due diligence across online casino and sports betting operations.

The role requires experience in AML/compliance within gaming, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years AML/compliance experience in iGaming and/or casino is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CAMS, CFE or GAMS are preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and in a timely manner.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills with the ability to communicate with various levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work with AML Manager and Risk & Payments to identify financial crime and regulatory reporting.
  • Oversee AML monitoring and reporting for a territory of jurisdictions.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence and open-source intelligence.
  • Utilize software to identify red flags for suspicious activity.
  • Monitor transactions and investigate potential money laundering and other financial crimes.
  • Prepare narratives and submit required reports and regulatory filings.
  • Routinely review filed SARs to analyze patterns of suspicious behavior.
  • Develop understanding of regulatory reporting requirements for new markets across online and retail operations.
  • Support regulatory audit requests as needed.

Rush Street Interactive (NYSE: RSI) is a market leader in online casino and sports betting, currently operating real-money gaming with our brands: BetRivers.com, PlaySugarHouse.com, and RushBet.co. We’re building bridges between online, social and land-based gaming businesses to create amazing, integrated experiences that keep players in the game.

As the AML Analyst, you will become an expert in the online casino and sports betting space. You will work closely with the AML Manager and the Risk & Payments team to identify financial crime and coordinate regulatory reporting. You will also work closely with members of RSI to complete risk assessments and document multi-state regulatory requirements, Bank Secrecy Act updates, and international Anti-Money Laundering Anti-Terrorist Financing regulations. Experience in the gaming industry is important, as well as the ability to identify common red flags of suspicious activity and money laundering.

What You'll Do
  • Work closely with support operations to ensure all departments understand and are adhering to the company’s AML Compliance Program.
  • Oversee the AML monitoring and reporting for a territory of jurisdictions.

  • Develop an understanding of regulatory reporting requirements for new markets, applicable for both online (Casino & Sports betting) and retail operations.
  • Support regulatory audit requests as needed.
  • Stay abreast of money laundering and terrorist financing trends.
  • Assist with AML Compliance training.
  • All other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years AML/compliance experience, preferable in iGaming and/or casino.
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Gaming Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (GAMS) certification preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and in a timely manner.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills with the ability to communicate with various levels within the corporation effectively.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in analyzing large volumes of data.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain jurisdictional gaming licenses as required.

The pay range reflects potential variations in experience, skills, and location. The pay range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base pay, benefits, and/or bonuses. For candidates outside the US (Canada, Europe, Latin America), we take a locally informed approach to compensation and will share specific ranges based on your country of residence.
