Job summary
E Source, a research, data/analytics, and technology focused professional services firm serving the US and Canada utility industry, seeks a Solution Architect to shape current and future architectures for AMI and related utility technology initiatives. You will translate business goals into concrete designs and coordinate across vendor and client teams.
You will evaluate solutions for scalability, interoperability, and long-term support while guiding testing, data management, and integration
Qualifications
- Five+ years of experience in utility solution architecture or related technical role.
- Experience designing architectures for AMI, MDMS, CIS, GIS, and analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
- Strong communication with IT/OT, vendors, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of current-state and future-state solution architectures for AMI and related utility technology initiatives.
- Translate business processes and data requirements into practical solution designs.
- Identify and define integration requirements across utility systems and platforms.
- Facilitate architecture workshops with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
- Provide technical oversight through design, build, and deployment lifecycle.
