Job summary

IEM seeks a Full Time AMI Solutions Architect to join our Critical Infrastructure team. The architect will align IT with business needs, support the AMI project, and collaborate with IT leadership across functions.

The role includes designing, developing, testing, and deploying AMI systems, guiding data platforms, and ensuring compliance with LUMA architecture standards. Travel across the United States is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 5–7 years IT experience in a similar role.
• Experience with AMI technologies (ISM Band mesh, licensed spectrum radios, Private LTE).
• Experience with Java EE, Oracle SOA Suite, IBM MQ and databases.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Databricks and Delta Lakes.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes integration standards and technology platforms for Meter-to-Cash.
• Leads data strategies for LUMA IT/OT and data platforms.
• Oversees AMI system design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Obtains requirements from business users and aligns with roadmaps.
• Manages risks, issues, and change orders; communicates status to leadership.
• Ensures compliance with LUMA IT standards and policies.
• Guides data analytics platforms and serves as SME for IT/OT landscape.
