Job summary

At E Source, a leading utility-focused professional services firm, we seek a Technical Consultant to shape how AMI and data initiatives impact clients in the US and Canada.

You’ll support complex AMI implementations for electric, gas, and water clients, collaborating with project managers, solution architects, and vendor partners to ensure data accuracy, validated requirements, and issue remediation before they affect operations or customers. Remote-first role.

Qualifications

• Five+ years supporting utility technology implementations.
• Experience with AMI, MDMS, CIS, GIS, or related systems.
• Experience with requirements, test cases, and defect logs.
• Proficient with Excel and data-analysis tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute AMI test strategies and plans.
• Coordinate testing across bench, system integration, UAT, and field phases.
• Validate data flows and system integrations across utilities.
• Document defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive resolutions.
• Coach client teams on AMI data management.
