Job summary

Attractivate Consulting Solutions seeks an AMI/Metering Engineer to support advanced metering infrastructure deployments for utility clients, covering the full data pipeline from field devices to head-end systems and MDM.

You will collaborate on design, configuration, and troubleshooting of AMI head-end platforms (Itron, Landis+Gyr, Sensus, Aclara or similar) and meter data management, while coordinating deployment, provisioning, firmware, data quality analysis, and system integrations with

Qualifications

3+ years of experience delivering AMI systems in utility environments.
Familiarity with metering networks (RF mesh, cellular, PLC).
Understanding of MDM systems and metering data standards.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Support design, configuration, and troubleshooting of AMI head-end systems and MDM.
Coordinate meter deployment, provisioning, and firmware management.
Analyze meter data quality and network performance.
Support integration between AMI, billing, OMS, and CIS.
Document configurations and assist field operations with issues.
Participate in AMI 2.0 refresh planning and legacy meter decommissioning.
