Job summary

Pmcsservices seeks an experienced Project/Program Manager to deliver a 12-month AMI implementation on-site in Austin, Texas. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with vendors and consultants, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure successful deployment of the AMI solution across the utility.

The role requires a PMP cert, AMI project experience, and strong stakeholder management skills, reporting to the Director of Customer Care for Austin Energy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, computer science or MIS.
• 5+ years of PM experience delivering large IT/AMI projects.
• PMP certification required; strong vendor and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AMI implementation and integration with meter data and billing systems.
• Manage internal and external teams (20–40 staff plus external vendors).
• Monitor budget, schedule, scope; report variances to sponsors.
• Oversee vendor contracts and SLAs; ensure governance and risk controls.
