Zusammenfassung

Landis+Gyr is seeking a Technical Implementation Engineer I to serve as an early escalation point for complex technical issues, collaborating with Development, Engineering, SQA, Product Management and Project Management to drive resolutions and document them in CRM.

You will support deployments for utility customers, manage test environments, develop AMI knowledge, and help ensure solutions are delivered with high quality and in compliance with SLAs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Experience with solutions involving both software and hardware.
• Utility operations experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Owns test environments and test lab to support the deployment organization.
• Create relevant use case scenarios and appropriate solutions to demonstrate GridStream operates and supports test suite improvements.
• Support System Acceptance Testing (SAT) for new customer deployments.
• Support FAT and monitor FAT processes.
• Lead creation of standard operating procedures and solutions for technical elements that are effective and repeatable.
• Adhere to formal change control processes.
• Develop subject matter expertise in two‑way electric AMI technology from head‑end software to field endpoints.
• Ensure CRM tickets are documented and resolved or escalated within SLA.
• Proactively follow through on all technical issues to ensure resolution.
• Support software installation activities for new releases and post‑implementation support.
• Test and support beta software versions and identify gaps in technical documentation.
• Participate in root cause analysis of deployment problems.
