Job summary

TYLin, a globally recognized infrastructure consulting firm, seeks an experienced Lead Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale AMI deployment programs. This role coordinates utility stakeholders, implementation vendors, contractors, and project teams through the full AMI lifecycle, from procurement support to deployment completion and operational transition.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in program management, Active PMP certification, and AMI/utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• Active PMP certification required.
• 10+ years of program or project management experience.
• 2+ years managing AMI, smart metering, utility infrastructure, or large-scale technology deployment programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing programs exceeding $25M in value.
• Experience developing project schedules, budgets, KPIs, and risk management plans.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMI Program Delivery: serve as the PM for large-scale AMI deployment programs.
• Support Vendor Procurement and Contract Development: assist in vendor evaluations and contract governance.
• Develop and Maintain Program Controls: create integrated schedules, dashboards, KPIs, and risk registers.
• Manage Implementation Vendors: oversee vendors, contractors, and subcontractors with performance monitoring.
• Oversee Deployment Activities: coordinate planning, sequencing, resource allocation, and readiness.
• Manage Materials and Inventory Oversight: monitor meter procurement and deployment productivity.
• Lead Risk and Issue Management: maintain risk registers and mitigation strategies.
• Drive Organizational Change Management: plan billing continuity, training, and process improvements.
• Facilitate Stakeholder Coordination: build relationships with utility leadership and providers.
• Provide Executive Reporting: deliver status reports to utility leadership.
• Support Project Closeout and Operational Readiness: coordinate acceptance and handover activities.
