Job summary

Ad Astra, Inc. is seeking on-site interpreters in the Maryland area to provide English-Amharic interpretation in medical, legal, governmental, and community settings. The role offers a flexible freelance schedule and the chance to work directly with communities.

Applicants must be fluent in English and Amharic, authorized to work in the U.S., and able to commute to Maryland for onsite assignments. Training and orientation are provided for candidates with no prior interpreting experience.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to commute to Maryland for onsite assignments.
• Willingness to complete a drug screening and background check.
• No prior interpreting experience? Training and orientation provided.
