Job summary

Ad Astra, Inc. is seeking on-site interpreters in the Maryland area to provide in-person interpretation between English and Liberian English.

This freelance role supports medical, legal, governmental, and community settings, with emphasis on professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality. Ideal candidates have academic-level fluency in both languages, must be authorized to work in the U.S., and be 18 or older.

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to commute to Maryland for onsite assignments.
• Willingness to complete a drug screening and background check.
• No prior interpreting experience? Training and orientation provided.
