Job summary

City Relief seeks a full-time AmeriCorps Service Member to strengthen volunteer systems, communication, and engagement across outreach sites in Clifton, NJ and surrounding locations.

You will recruit, schedule, train, and support volunteers, improve onboarding resources, and help develop the General Volunteer Handbook while participating in outdoor outreach and hybrid program-support activities.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy building relationships and communicating with diverse groups.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Able to adapt to outdoor outreach in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support volunteer onboarding, check-in, orientation, scheduling, and engagement at City Relief outreaches.
• Build relationships with volunteers and help create a welcoming experience.
• Learn and use City Relief’s volunteer management system (VOMO) and streamline processes.
