Highlands Housing Corporation in Monticello, Kentucky seeks an AmeriCorps Homeownership Specialist to assist future homeowners, coordinate volunteers, and support housing services under the Director of Housing Services. This 12-month AmeriCorps service position runs Sept 1, 2026–Aug 31, 2026, at 37.5 hours per week, based in Monticello, KY.

You will conduct outreach, support homebuyer education, connect families to resources, and help with budgeting and readiness tasks.

Responsabilités

• Conduct community outreach to raise awareness of Highlands Housing’s programs and assist with applications for homeownership.
• Assist with homebuyer education activities.
• Provide information about the homebuying process and housing resources.
• Assist clients with budgeting and readiness tasks under supervision.
• Refer clients to community resources and service providers.
• Support partnerships with local organizations addressing housing insecurity.
• Promote programs, create marketing materials, manage social media, and assist with repair projects and events.
• Collect and report data on client participation, volunteers, and outcomes.
• Provide administrative support to clients and volunteers.
