Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Vice President, Solutions Architecture – Americas to lead a large, distributed technical go-to-market organization spanning NAMER, LATAM, and specialist teams. The role reports to the SVP, Global Solutions Architecture and owns the Americas technical GTM strategy with strong collaboration across Sales, Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or related business areas.
• 5+ years leading large multi-region technical pre-sales organizations, including leaders of leaders.
• Experience managing a large organization and a leadership layer.
• Track record of leading transformation in a technical GTM function with strategy, metrics, and accountability.
• Deep experience with consumption-based business models and connecting technical strategy to adoption and revenue outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set the Americas vision and strategy for Solutions Architecture and translate global mandate into regional operating strategy.
• Lead transformation to raise energy, accountability, and commercial impact while preserving strengths.
• Build an operating system for scale with clear goals, governance, and inspection mechanisms.
• Drive consumption-oriented GTM by expanding from pre-sales to broader technical strategies.
• Partner with Sales leadership to improve win strategy, deal quality, and executive engagement on complex opportunities.
• Serve as an executive technical ambassador to CIOs/CTOs and strategic partners focusing on AI, cloud, and data platforms.
• Develop leaders, set high standards, and build an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Create value-based discovery and scalable solution design methodologies.
