Compensation Range: $62,700 - $85,000. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, skills, and location.

Job Purpose

We seek a highly motivated senior accountant to support regional accounting duties within our organization. The role involves assisting with the Americas Region consolidation process during monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, working closely with corporate, regional, and global teams to ensure accurate reflection of activities in source systems (ERPs) and HFM. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing reporting schedules and managing ad hoc projects requiring consolidation and technical accounting skills.

Success in this role requires ownership of processes, strong GAAP knowledge, excellent Excel skills, organizational skills, independence, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations in BaaN, SAP, and HFM.
• Oversee corporate and regional fee processes.
• Ensure ERPs and HFM accurately reflect regional activities.
• Communicate with plant accountants, segment leads, department heads, and third-party providers for analysis, forecasts, and reconciliations.
• Prepare analysis for high-priority accounts, quarter/year-end packages, and audits.
• Monitor compliance with GAAP and company procedures.
• Identify control weaknesses and suggest improvements.
• Create and update process documentation and work instructions.
• Exercise discretion on confidential matters.
• Handle ad hoc requests.

Travel Requirements: Travel to the corporate office is required for quarter-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA preferred; MBA a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing and multi-entity environment.
• Experience with external audits at Big 4 or mid-tier firms preferred.
