Job summary

CRH is seeking a Regional Category Manager for Production Equipment & Services in the Americas. This hybrid role in Atlanta leads category strategy, supplier selection, and lifecycle value across Asphalt and Ready-Mix businesses.

You will collaborate with business leaders, drive total cost of ownership improvements, and manage risk with cross-functional teams and international partners. Travel 20-30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of procurement/sourcing/category management experience.
• Significant experience in production equipment, OEM/aftermarket parts, plant systems, or capital projects.
• Asphalt/ready-mix plant experience strongly preferred; other industrial experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies and sourcing plans aligned with business priorities.
• Serve as procurement partner to Asphalt and Ready-Mix leadership and operations teams.
• Base sourcing on total cost of ownership, availability, quality and risk.
• Provide input to budgets, business cases, and capital planning.
• Lead supplier selection, RFx, evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
• Align specifications and standardize equipment and commercial models.
