Job summary

CRH is seeking a Lead for Production Equipment & Services procurement across the Americas. This hybrid role, based in our Atlanta office, partners with Asphalt and Ready-Mix leadership to optimize equipment lifecycle value and reduce supply risk.

Responsibilities include developing category strategies, leading supplier selections, and driving value through cost reductions, reliability improvements, and governance across multiple sites with travel up to 20–30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of procurement experience.
• Significant experience in production equipment, OEM/aftermarket parts, plant systems, automation, or capital projects.
• Experience in asphalt and/or ready-mix plant environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies and sourcing plans aligned with operating requirements and business priorities.
• Serve as the primary procurement partner to Asphalt and Ready-Mix leadership and operations teams.
• Base sourcing decisions on total cost of ownership, availability, reliability, quality and risk.
• Provide early commercial input to budgets, business cases, and capital planning.
• Lead supplier selection, RFx, bid evaluation, contracting, onboarding and implementation.
• Align specifications, qualify sources, and standardize equipment/service models.
• Manage supplier relationships and scorecard reviews including performance and risk.
• Deliver savings, cost avoidance, rebates, and working-capital improvements.
