Job summary

Moncler in New York seeks a Planning Specialist to support the Integrated Business Planning function for the Americas. You will translate sales trends, inventory levels, and product performance into actionable insights to drive regional performance.

The role collaborates with Merchandising, Retail, Finance, Logistics, and cross-functional partners to shape forecasts, Open-to-Buy decisions, and seasonal planning while monitoring KPIs and ensuring data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, retail planning, financial planning, business analysis, or a related analytical function.
• Experience within luxury, fashion, retail, or another product-driven consumer business strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with planning, BI, ERP, or reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly sales and inventory plans across the Americas business.
• Maintain and update forecasts based on actual performance, emerging trends, inventory availability, commercial initiatives, and changes in business expectations.
• Support in-season reforecasting and scenario analysis, identifying risks and opportunities against sales and inventory targets.
• Monitor performance against plan, forecast, and prior year, identifying material variances and underlying business drivers.
• Support planning for key commercial moments, product launches, events, holidays, and other business initiatives.
• Prepare analysis and recommendations to support broader planning and Open-to-Buy discussions led by the Senior Director.
