Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Operational Risk Management within a large financial services firm.
• Strong governance and regulatory knowledge across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to translate risk data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Experience developing risk appetite frameworks, KRIs and risk metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight of the Americas operational risk portfolio and provide an integrated regional risk view.
• Develop and implement IHC-specific operational risk appetite, KRIs, and guardrails.
• Partner with legal entities, businesses and risk disciplines to influence risk outcomes.
• Analyze operational risk data to identify trends and inform leadership decisions.
• Represent the Head of Operational Risk Americas at governance forums and risk committees.
• Manage and challenge 1st and 2nd line activities through RCSAs, events, issues, and reporting.
• Provide expert guidance to senior functional management and committees on risk matters.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, driving cross-functional collaboration and governance.
