Job summary

Rio Tinto seeks a Principal Advisor, Ethics & Compliance Americas to lead the US Ethics & Compliance program, shaping risk-based advice and governance across operations and projects. The role partners with the Americas team and global privacy, investigations, and governance functions.

You will drive training, monitor controls, and help operational leaders embed a culture of integrity and trust within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Experience leading ethics and compliance programs in a complex regulated org.
Ability to assess and manage business integrity risks including anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, fraud and AML.
Experience designing training and awareness programs for diverse teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the Americas Ethics & Compliance program across the United States.
Provide independent, risk-based advice to business leaders on ethics and compliance.
Monitor and assess controls; identify issues and drive practical improvements.
Develop and deliver training to strengthen risk awareness and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including privacy, investigations, governance and risk management.
