Job summary

Criterion Child Enrichment is seeking a bilingual in-person interpreter to support families in our early intervention program for birth to 3 years. You will interpret for families, facilitate communication with staff, and help schedule visits across home and center settings.

This role offers compensation of $25-30 per hour and requires a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to client homes and centers in the United States.

Qualifications

• Verbal fluency in both English and language of specific population served.
• Interpreting experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for in person interpreting services.
• Understanding of interpreter role in encouraging and fostering direct communication between provider and parent/caregiver.

The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training and support to families to help their children learn and grow. We provide home and center based services.
