Job summary

The Technical College of the Lowcountry seeks an educator to teach American Government across all programs, delivering hands-on and theoretical instruction while managing the classroom and developing syllabi and lesson plans.

You will assess student progress, maintain attendance and grades, and collaborate with Tutoring, Retention, and other campus services to promote student success; participate in reports and accreditation-related planning as requested by the Division Dean.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 18 graduate hours in political science/American government.
• Unofficial transcripts required when applying; official transcripts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks such as reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Assess student progress; maintain records of attendance, grades, and progress.

Education
