Job summary

American Beauty is seeking an energetic host to welcome guests, manage seating, and ensure a seamless dining experience in a high-volume setting. You will be organized, friendly, and capable of handling busy periods with poise.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in hosting, a commitment to hospitality excellence, and proficiency with front-of-house technologies like Toast POS, OpenTable, and Hot Schedules. Join a growing restaurant group and contribute to an inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least one full year of host experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
• A commitment to creating an amazing and memorable guest experience.
• Following standards including steps of service, food safety and sanitation and phone etiquette.
• Organized, detail oriented, and a great communicator.
• Address problems quickly and have a knack for turning tough situations into positive outcomes.
• Understand our technologies and care about accuracy - (POS Toast, Open Table, Hot Schedules).
• Have a flexible schedule and open availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage seating, and provide a warm welcome to all.
• Maintain organized and efficient host station during service.
• Coordinate with front-of-house to optimize guest flow and wait times.
• Assist guests with questions and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Use Toast POS, OpenTable, and Hot Schedules to support operations.
