Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Schedule Controls Manager to provide centralized scheduling expertise across the AMER construction portfolio and ensure schedule adherence and delivery quality for the world’s most complex data center builds.

You will validate assumptions, identify risks to milestones, and collaborate with TiPMs, Construction, and Pre-Con teams to keep projects on time with high standards of quality and efficiency. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly schedule quality reviews on active builds against the AMER scheduling specification.
• Validate GC schedules against committed milestones (H2C, NEA, PFHO).
• Develop and maintain schedules at L1–L5 with logic ties, resource loading, and delivery cadence assumptions.
• Perform schedule risk analysis and what-if scenarios to support proactive intervention.
• Create schedule reports and dashboards for regional and executive audiences.
• Support field audits to validate schedule accuracy and process adherence.
• Travel domestically up to 50% to support active builds and milestone readiness assessments.
