Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking an AMER Schedule Controls Manager to lead strategic scheduling for Amazon's data center construction across the Americas.

You will guide complex scheduling challenges, drive improvements, and ensure timely delivery of highly technical infrastructure. You will manage a team of contract Schedulers, analyze schedules, and deliver executive dashboards while overseeing EVM implementation and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 skills.
• Experience leading schedule management for large-scale data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of contract Schedulers.
• Develop and analyze project schedules (L1-L5) and identify critical paths.
• Facilitate Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM) with stakeholders.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and what-if scenarios.
• Review contractor schedules and resource loading.
• Prepare executive-level schedule status reports and dashboards.
• Oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation for schedule tracking.
• Support schedule forensic analysis and improvement initiatives.
