Job summary

Pet Paradise Amelia Island is seeking a Playtime Coordinator to organize daytime play groups for our resort location. Starting at $14.00/hour with $0.50 raises at 6 months and on annual anniversary date, we offer extensive advancement and training programs across dog training, grooming, and leadership tracks.

You will supervise play areas, ensure safe interactions among dogs, and support yard maintenance while enjoying excellent benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• True passion for working with animals.
• Ability to work in all-weather conditions (heat and humidity); exposed to pool water.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, push and grasp.
• Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

Responsibilities

• Interact with and monitor dogs in play areas to ensure safe play.
• Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times and spread attention among playgroups.
• Minimize stress levels and manage aggressive or unusual behaviors.
• Assist team with cleaning and play-yard maintenance duties.
