Job description

Mercy Express Driver Responsibilities:

1. Provide curb-to-curb vehicle transportation for clients between locations.
2. Assist clients in transportation within SRHP facilities for appointments.

Ambulette Attendant Responsibilities:

1. Transport wheelchair clients between locations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
2. Operate ambulette vehicles safely.
3. Use wheelchair lifts and manually push wheelchairs as needed.
4. Maintain proper reports and records.
5. Provide care and advocate for patients during transport.
6. Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance.
7. Participate in required training and uphold confidentiality and patient rights.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred certifications include AHA BLS, First Aid, IS 100, IS 700, DRIVE Training, EVOC within 1 year, and IS 100 & 700 within 6 months.
• Experience of 1-3 years in relevant roles.
