Job summary

Ambulnz by DocGo is seeking an Ambulette Driver in Ridgewood, NY for a full-time position. The role requires CDL with Passenger Endorsement, DOT medical card, and a clean driving record.

You will provide patient transport with focus on safety, courtesy, and professionalism, while maintaining the vehicle and reporting as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401k.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required.
• Valid DOT Medical Card is required.
• CDL abstract is required.
• NSC DDC-6 defensive driving course is required.
• Successful completion of Physical Aptitude Test is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous transport for patients to facilities.
• Know municipal roads and local geography to perform duties.
• Stay up-to-date with standards of care and equipment use.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Report daily to leadership and dispatch as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock while on shift.
• Complete daily reports for market leadership.

Pay Rate: $20 - $21 per hour

Location: 16-70 Weirfield St. Ridgewood NY

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 8 or 12-hour shifts available

Responsibilities:

• As a DocGo team player,candidates must provide necessary assistance to ensure system sanitation, readiness and adherence to quality assurance standards.

• Knowledge of the municipal roads and highways as well as local geography to provide all aspects of responsibilities.

• Oversee and remain up to datewith current standards of care, including equipment functions and utilization of all licenses.

• Administer the highest level of customer service by being courteous, helpful, and professional at all times when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors and the public.

• Provide top tier transportto facilities by assuming responsibilities for care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.

• Daily maintenance of the rig to include cleanliness, stocking up on inventory and reporting any engine malfunctions that would impact operations.

• Prepare and submitreports daily to the market leadership.

• Respond promptlyto assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.

• Roll up your sleeves and get things done to support our customers!

• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• CDL (A/B/C) with Passenger Endorsement
