Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an RN for ambulatory wound care to deliver professional nursing care and wound-healing support in a patient‑focused ambulatory setting.

The per diem, day shift role requires an ADN or BSN and a minimum of one year of RN experience. BLS is required; ACLS certification is expected within 6 months of hire. Travel within the region to support physician clinics may be necessary.

Qualifications

• RN licensure valid in Ohio (RN).
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification through AHA within 6 months of hire.
• One year of RN experience; ambulatory/wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department and travel within the region to support clinics.
