Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for ambulatory/outpatient care in Charlotte, NC. The role requires independent planning and delivery of professional nursing care per care plans, with leadership of assigned team members and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff.

Candidates must hold an RN license in North Carolina with BCLS; ACLS/PALS/PEARS may be required in certain areas. Schedule is Weekdays PRN with part-time status in ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

Graduation from accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Two years of acute care experience required; prefer within last 10 years.
Current RN license in North Carolina; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/PEARS may be required within 1 year in select areas.

Responsibilities

Provides patient/family centered care in ambulatory clinic settings.
Uses critical thinking and clinical judgment to expedite appropriate care.
Leads and coordinates care with multidisciplinary team.
Ensures continuity of care across the care continuum and utilizes telecommunication as needed.
Maintains professional development and adherence to nursing standards.
