Job summary

Advocate Health Huntersville Surgery Center seeks a part-time RN to join its ambulatory surgery team. The role provides professional nursing care in outpatient settings with a focus on perioperative assessment, planning, and coordination of care.

The RN participates in safe, efficient patient care during pre- and post-operative phases. The ideal candidate has PACU experience and an RN license in good standing, with BSN preferred and BLS required.

Qualifications

• PACU experience is required for this role.
• BSN degree preferred; BLS required by policy.
• Current RN license in the state of work or valid license portability

Responsibilities

• Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer’s health or the situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses, problems, and issues.
• Identify expected outcomes and plan individualized care.
• Develop and implement care plans to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and promote a safe environment.
• Delegate care in line with policy and legal requirements.
• Evaluate progress toward goals and outcomes.
