Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately to support efficient clinic operations.
• Schedule, cancel and revise appointments in scheduling software per guidelines.
• Register patients and secure accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Manage a high volume of telephone calls for the service area.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming front-office interaction with patients and family members.
• Verify insurance information to maximize reimbursement and correct payments.
• Schedule patient testing through EPIC and coordinate physician-ordered testing.
• Use multiple computer applications to ensure up-to-date patient information and flow.
