Job summary

Loyola Medicine is seeking Ambulatory Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Loyola University Medical Center ambulatory team, supporting Elmhurst and Oak Park locations. This full-time, day-shift role offers patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include triage, assessments, care coordination, patient education, and thorough documentation. Requires a nursing diploma, BLS, Illinois RN license, and 1–2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in nursing (BSN or ADN) from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Active Illinois RN license.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient care and assessment: conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement care plans.
• Nurse triage: perform initial triage and determine next steps for treatment/referral.
• Care coordination and communication: collaborate with physicians and other providers to coordinate care.
• Patient education and support: educate patients and families on managing health conditions and medications.
• Administrative and documentation duties: maintain accurate records and manage scheduling.
