Job summary

Duke Health Cary Surgery Center in Cary, NC seeks experienced perioperative professionals to join the founding team as Surgical Technologists. The state-of-the-art ASC will open in 2027 with six operating/procedure rooms, robotic systems, and outpatient services across urology, plastic surgery, breast oncology, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, pediatric urology, ENT, and orthopedic procedures.

Qualifications

• Two years of ambulatory or outpatient surgical experience
• Thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Perform responsibilities that uphold service excellence toward patients and colleagues
• Establish and maintain sterile fields and ensure sterile environment
• Prepare operating room with appropriate instrumentation and supplies
• Assist with instrument passing and counts
• Support both OR and ambulatory settings for level progression
• May schedule and coordinate cases and support clinical workflows
