Job summary

Duke Health Cary Surgery Center is seeking experienced perioperative nurses to join the founding team of a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center opening in 2027. Nurses will contribute to building a culture of excellence, patient-centered care, and operational efficiency across multiple specialties.

Requirements include a BSN, current North Carolina RN licensure, BLS, and a minimum of twelve months of clinical experience with a preference for ambulatory or outpatient surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina; BLS required.
• Twelve months of clinical experience; ambulatory/outpatient surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join the founding team of Duke Health Cary Surgery Center and help establish perioperative care processes.
• Deliver high-quality patient care across ambulatory surgery across multiple specialties.
• Support operational excellence, staffing flexibility, and continuous improvement in a new center.
