Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support procedures across all age groups in a clinical setting. The role involves preparing the operating room and equipment, practicing aseptic techniques, assisting surgeons intra-operatively, and managing supplies and documentation.

You will coordinate treatments, provide patient assistance, and support team training. Active certification or Act 80 compliance is required, with preferred prior surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Active Surgical Technologist Certification or compliance with Act 80 guidelines.
• Previous surgical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical procedures, and inventory management.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with surgical procedures and patient care.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and supplies.
• Identify surgical sites, verify specimens, and monitor inventory.
• Participate in surgical timeouts and ensure patient safety.
• Document procedures and communicate patient condition changes.
• Support room turnover and assist in training new staff.
