Responsibilities

• Schedules all surgical procedures for pediatric and adult patients.
• Obtains and enters patient and surgeon information for OR scheduling.
• Communicates with OR Director regarding block time and room turnover.
• Prepares and distributes the schedule and corrections as needed.
• Contacts surgeon offices 2 days prior to scheduled times to confirm procedures.
• Cross-trains in front desk areas for coverage.
