Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) who will operate in a primary nursing role within our Julian Road Outpatient Surgery Center. The RN will coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments and support day-to-day ASC operations while cross-training across areas including turnover.

Prior ASC/PACU experience is preferred. Qualified candidates hold an RN license in the appropriate state and have strong prioritization and communication skills to ensure

Qualifications

• Must understand NC Nurse Practice Act and RN scope of practice.
• Ability to set priorities and organize workload for the unit.
• Proficient in telephone screening and patient interviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments in the ASC.
• Function as a team member across ASC operations including turnover.
• Provide bedside nursing care in a primary ASC area as needed.
