Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center (Pre/Post Op). This full-time role offers a 40-hour work week with either 5x8 shifts or 4x10 shifts, and rotating Saturday on-call coverage.

The RN must hold an IL license and be CPR/ACLS certified, with PALS preferred. Responsibilities include post-surgical patient care in a fast-paced ASC setting, working weekends/holidays as needed, and adhering to safety and infection control

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current IL RN license.
• Current BLS/ACLS (CPR) certification.
• PALS preferred or must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum of one year of Preop/Postop Care or related critical care experience.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; team lifting for heavier moves.

• Provide post-surgical care to Ambulatory Surgery Center patients (Phase 1, Phase 2).
