Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide hands-on care in a fast-paced surgical care unit. Rotating shifts include 2x12-hour shifts and 1x8-hour shift per week, with every third weekend required.

You will work closely with clinical teams, apply evidence-based nursing practice, educate patients and families, and support safety and quality of care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or licensing equivalency.
• No experience required.
• Frequent sitting, reaching and keyboard/data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Uses the nursing process to develop and implement the plan of care.
• Educates patients and families about measures to promote health.
• Collaborates with the inter-professional team to coordinate care.
