• Performs circulating functions including patient monitoring and nursing care before, during and after procedures.
• Assists operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure.
• Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
• Applies evidence-based practice to nursing care and adheres to department Scope of Service.
