SSM Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing care for surgical patients. You will assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate care. The role supports a day shift with 36 hours per week and no nights, holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements.

Shifts vary between start times (6:00am to 10:30am) with 8-hour lengths, potentially reduced to 6 hours. Located at 700 South Park St., Madison, WI. Must hold RN licensure and graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.

Responsabilités

• Accepts patient care assignments as directed.
• Communicates with clinical area team members appropriately.
• Performs patient assessment using data and clinical judgment.
• Educates patients about surgical/invasive procedures and expectations.
• Documents care and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Administers medications and nursing interventions per hospital policy.
