Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Madison is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols.

You will collaborate with patients, families, and the inter-professional team, use the nursing process to develop and evaluate care plans, and educate patients to promote health and comfort. This is a Regular, full-time role in a Medical/Surgical department with rotating shifts and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• No experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase quality of care and quality of life for patients and families.
• Establishes advocate relationships with patients and families to develop individualized care plans.
• Applies nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Coordinates with inter-professional team to assess needs and set goals.
• Educates patients and families on measures to promote health and comfort.
