Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery unit. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on evidence-based, individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN required).
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification (AHA) and other Life Support training as unit requires.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage care of routine patients using the nursing process, including patient and family education and care coordination.
• Effectively communicate patient and family information to the health care team.
