Albany Med Health System seeks a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) in the Ambulatory Surgery department for the Evening shift. Under RN supervision, PCAs collect patient data, provide personal care, and assist with care transitions to discharge, including during transitions in the acute stay.

Qualificações

• Collect patient data including vital signs and intake/output.
• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with procedures such as blood glucose testing and basic nursing tasks.

• Collect pertinent data and information related to patient health.
• Report abnormal findings to RN and care team.
• Participate in care planning and nursing report process.
