Atlantic Vision Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support perioperative care in ambulatory surgery. The LPN will perform delegated duties under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring patient safety, accurate records, and effective communication with the care team.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, current state license, IV and BLS certifications, and experience in ambulatory surgery.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license from the state board of nursing to practice as a practical nurse.
• IV certification.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is mandatory.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery environment.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and complete assessment of patient needs to provide supportive care before, during and after surgery, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate pertinent information to coworkers.
• Provide a safe environment for the patient to prevent potential injury.
• Investigation and intervention in problem situations, reporting appropriate information to supervisor, and documenting the same.
• Assist with housekeeping responsibilities as directed by recovery room nurse and/or operating room nurse.
